Primary ovarian insufficiency (POI) can affect
more than just periods; it can impact many parts
and functions of the body

Estrogen is important for many parts of the body.
It helps keep bones and skin healthy, affects mood and memory, supports breast development,
provides lubrication for the vagina, and helps control body temperature.

When there is too little estrogen in the body (like in POI), it can lead to
physical, mental, and emotional symptoms.
